Remember when those people up in Harlem convinced the owner of a liquor store to turn it into a classier “wine shop”? Well, now the shop has been hit by burglars twice in the last month. The Post points out that part of owner Berihu Mesfin’s renovations involved removing the store’s bulletproof glass, and sort of alludes to the fact that the move might be to blame for the robberies. Mesfin’s not so sure, though. He tells the tabloid, “They are experts … they can break any lock.” [NYP, Earlier]
