Eater reports that Litty Mathew and Melkon Khosrovian’s Greenbar Collective, the distillery behind organic spirits including Tru Vodka, Crusoe Rum, Barkeep Bitters, and Ixta Tequila (and not another pot dispensary, despite the name) is moving operations from Monrovia to Downtown L.A. The company currently has video of a farm-fresh mural going into its lobby in preparation of this week’s ribbon-cutting, while the relocation of the distillery will make this the first to operate in L.A. since before Prohibition. While the new distillery has no plans to open to the public, Eater says this will increase the brand’s visibility in town, as owners plan to host $20 mixology classes at bars and restaurants every month.
