Here Pig, Pig, Pig: Cochon 555 Returns in May

Five chefs, five heritage breed pigs, and five winemakers–Cochon 555, the traveling pork show, makes its way west again on Sunday, May 6, this year taking over the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip. Last year there were a few glitches (long lines, missing ingredients), but let’s chalk that up to a freshman effort. There was still some delicious eating. So who will be there this year?

Chad Colby, who took first prize last year, Ben Ford from Ford’s Filling Station, Neal Fraser of Grace and BLD, Micah Wexler from Mezze, and Jason Neroni from Superba Snack Bar. All get get their own breed of pig to create a nose-to-tail feast for the masses. They try to outdo each other, you taste and judge–just get there early. VIP tickets are $200, which gets you in an hour earlier than everyone else; regular tickets are $125.
