Moo Dae Po, Brian Chong’s all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue restaurant that clinched the blue ribbon at KTown’s inaugural ‘cue cook-off with its galbi, is announcing expansion plans to Rowland Heights. The well-organized outfit even has an entire Facebook page set up for the new San Gab side of its business, revealing that “K-Town’s most-talked about Korean BBQ is coming your way…We know what a pain it is to have to drive so far in search for some decent KBBQ so we decided to bring the best right to you!”

Of course, not everyone believes it’s the best per se, including one Yelper who said the restaurant made her ashamed to be Korean, but it certainly appears to be the most rapidly expanding in the genre, as this is the fourth outlet in the empire by our count, in addition to the owner’s Haus Desserts and associated IOTA (with the attached and recently debuted Hansik food truck). Expect Moo Dae Po’s grand-opening in Rowland Heights in May, while chances are strong that this is far from the final link in the expanding chain.
