NFL Free Agent Raheem Brock Not Guilty of Stiffing South Street’s Copa

NFL free agent Raheem Brock has been facing an uphill battle since being arrested last June for walking out South Street’s Copabanana without paying his tab. At the time of his arrest, the Temple University alum’s contract with the Seattle Seahawks was up, and he suspects that the theft and resisting arrest charges were the reason it wasn’t renewed. He also believes it’s why none of the league’s other teams have signed him. Last week, he was cleared of all charges, the Inky reports. It turns out that he was asked to leave Copa last year after his cousin came and sat with him with a cheesesteak he had purchased across the street at Ishkabibble’s. He never received the food he had ordered — the same food he was accused of not paying for &mdahs; prior to getting bounced from the 4th and South burger and margarita joint. [Inquirer]
