At 11 days (roughly 1.7 weeks), Chicago Craft Beer Week is a massive thing with some 300 events all over the city and suburbs. Some of them, indeed most of them, are just specials at individual restaurants and bars and brewpubs, nothing wrong with that, but there are many much more elaborate events in which brewers take over entire restaurants, new brews are launched, and there’s everything from disc golf to a memorial service for Randy “Macho Man” Savage.
