Bacon Bash on Saturday; ReRun Gastropub Closing

• The Celebrity Chef Tour will make its way to New York next Wednesday with dinner at Tom Colicchio’s Riverpark. The meal will be crafted by six celebrity chefs and will benefit the James Beard Foundation. The all-inclusive $200 ticket can be purchased online. [Grub Street]

• iAdventure’s Bacon Bash will take place this Saturday in Times Square, featuring bacon-inspired dishes (and boozy sweets) from area vendors such as Tommy Lasagna, Lucky 777 Chili Company, and Prohibition Bakery. The Spotted Pig will host its fourth annual Gay Pride party at 5:30 Sunday, shortly after the main Pride Parade ends in the West Village. The party will be held on the restaurant’s second floor; last year featured ice-luge shots from a boob sculpture. [Grub Street]

• Chef Kyle McClelland, who moved from Manhattan to Dallas last fall, is back in the city for a new venture, Prospect. The New American restaurant, with Chopped winner Vinson Petrillo as Chef de Cuisine, will open in Fort Greene late this summer. [Grub Street]

• Restaurateur Levent Akyol, owner of the now-closed Brooklyn eatery Marmaris, has taken to Manhattan for another go: Reyna, a Turkish restaurant and grill, opened on Second Avenue this past weekend. The restaurant is housed in the former Mission Café location and will serve traditional Mediterranean fare like kebabs, stuffed grape leaves, and baklava. [Local EV/NYT]

• Aaron Hillis, programmer of ReRun Gastropub Theater in Dumbo, announced last week that the venue will be closing for an unknown period of time. Hillis says owner Jason Stevens hopes for the temporary shutdown to allow time for a “reincarnation” of the space. [Arts Beat/NYT]

Siggy’s Good Food’s upcoming Manhattan location is in the final stages of development, Bowery Boogie reports. The Mediterranean-inspired organic eatery, which started in Brooklyn, will soon open at 292 Elizabeth Street — the former home of Asian-fusion restaurant Rice. [Bowery Boogie]

• Bar ’21’ will unveil Monday its first custom beer, called “Jack & Charlie’s Ale.” The brew is named after Jack Berns and Charlie Kriendler, the cousin-pair that founded the bar 82 years ago.
