Thomas Keller keeps expanding his Bouchon empire, and the icing on the master chef’s classic French-inspired cake will no doubt arrive on October 23 with the release of Bouchon Bakery, a 400-page compendium of the restaurant’s breads and sweets, co-written with superstar pastry chef Sebastien Rouxel. Expect mille-feuilles and macarons galore, along with Keller’s take on Oreos (the politics-free TKO) and Oh Ohs (modeled on Ho Hos). Keller’s frequent collaborator Michael Ruhlman took a quick behind-the-scenes look at the writing process earlier this month, but the sweets were absent. Until October, it seems, you’ll have to tide yourself over with some homemade creamsicles. [Amazon]
