Various Equinox gyms (the ones with the Juice Generation bars) are abuzz with their newest promotion, “Cooler Cleanse” — a juice-for-a-day program that resets the body after 24 hours. This quick fix — which is selling like hotcakes, but you know, not exactly — is the latest juice-bar trend the gym has embraced in order to meet the needs of its juice-obsessed clientele. Last week, Juice Generation also announced an exclusive with pitaya, a rare fruit similar to dragonfruit, sourced from eighteen organic farms in Nicaragua “that only employ single mothers.”
