SHO Shaun Hergatt won’t be around much longer, at least not in its current form. Hergatt won’t be closing the restaurant, exactly, and the actual space in the Setai will continue to operate as a restaurant, apparently uninterrupted. But Hergatt will leave at the end of July, and he’ll take the current name with him. “There was an opportunity for me to move SHO and to elevate the restaurant to another level,” he tells the Times, although he also says that project is “yet to be determined.” Okay then. So what’s up with the current space? Asher Zamir, Hergatt’s soon-to-be-former partner, says his team is “formulating various options now, with a different name, a different brand and a different chef.” [Diner’s Journal/NYT]
