The LIRR will get you out east for a lot cheaper than the Jitney, but there’s still a cost. Riders say the en route pregaming has reached new levels, with beer cans, Champagne bottles, and booze-filled blenders. Because, you know, no one wants to get there with everybody “already crunked up at the pool.” Conversely, most Jitney buses don’t allow alcohol, only Xanax. [NYT]
