Peaches Owners Open a New Café in Bed-Stuy; Mashed-Potato Slurpees in Singapore

• This week, Saxelby Cheesemongers will be selling cagliatela (mozzarella curd) from Caputo Brothers Creamery. And thanks to said Brothers’ informational videos, you can take that curd and make your own mozzarella! (You know, if you’re into that sorta thing.) [Grub Street]

In conjunction with the Whitney’s new exhibit, Yayoi Kasuma’s massive red polka dot balloons will be suspended throughout the dining room. • If you’re flying Delta, we’d probably recommend passing on the food. Four in-flight diners were turned off from flying Delta forever apparently surprised after biting into their turkey sandwiches to discover sewing needles.
