A new study from the Centers for Disease Control finds that the older and more educated a woman is, the more likely she is to drink while she’s preggers. This is apparently alarming to the kinds of people who monitor such things. A rep for the CDC tells Reuters, “You should not drink if you are pregnant, are considering getting pregnant or even if you could possibly get pregnant.” (There must be some time frame for that last part, right?) But wait — didn’t science tell us last month that drinking during pregnancy is fine? Indeed it did. So we’re not sure what to believe anymore. [Reuters, Earlier]
