Port Authority, which owns 1 World Trade Center, has notified the three finalists who may operate a food service establishment inside the completed observatory, City Room reports. Revenues are projected to exceed $100 million per year when the tourist component of the building opens in two years. Yankee stadium operator Legends Hospitality Management made the cut, as did Danny Meyer, who partnered with a Canadian firm called GSM Projects. Benchmarc Restaurants’ chef and owner Marc Murphy, in a partnership with the French company Montparnasse 56 USA, is the third finalist. [City Room/NYT]
