The restaurant may be too cute for words, but it’s getting a cookbook anyhow: Publishers Marketplace (subscription required) reports that Buvette chef and owner Jody Williams has sold The Kitchen Table Gastroteque: Perfecting the Art of Gathering With Recipes for Eating, Drinking, and Living, which will reveal some of the West Village charmer’s secrets for the convenience of home cooks. The restaurant, beloved equally by the likes of Martha Stewart and café-set French existentialists from the sixties, just opened a pretty outdoor garden; it’s a good place to hang out until Grand Central Life & Style publishes Gastroteque, set for spring of 2014.
