Will Motorino Reopen in Williamsburg?

Fingers crossed.

After multiple structural issues (literally) brought down the Graham Avenue building that was home to Mathieu Palombino’s acclaimed Motorino last August, it looks like the blister, char, and billow is returning to Brooklyn: Wednesday night’s CB1 meeting agenda includes the appearance of the restaurant’s representatives seeking a licensing for the space at 139 Broadway, which would land the new pizza place and its wood-fired brick oven next door to the anticipated Post Office spin-off, OTB, and just steps away from Marlow and Sons, Dressler, and Peter Luger. The south is rising indeed; hopefully, the dough rises, too. [CB1 Brooklyn, Earlier, Related]
