The latest installment of VICE’s “Munchies” web series follows Best Pizza co-owner Frank Pinello and his bearded, saintlike bike-deliveryman Bill Meier, who can carry eight pizzas to their destination, unfettered by sleet or slow-moving hipsters. In the video, the two pie guys head south to the Bensonhurst neighborhood, where Pinello spent some time growing up, and get Sicilian square slices at J & V Pizzeria, then more at DaVinci, before hitting up a bakery for cannolis and landing finally at Pinello’s nonna’s house. Even if you’re maxed out on pizza porn for the day, this one’s worth watching, if not just to see the places that inspire the Williamsburg pizzaiolo.
