The chain of diners is opening its first New York City outpost in a luxury condo building across from City Hall. People are understandably pissed about 150 Nassau Street’s new tenant, especially because Denny’s franchises are typically open 24 hours. It’s only a matter of time before overworked FiDi bankers decide it’s funny to eat here ironically, hitting Denny’s at 4 a.m. and ordering everything protein-heavy on the “Fit Fare” menu. This city’s facing a dark future. [Bloomberg Businessweek, DNAinfo]
