The guys from Late Night Basement decided to stir the pot and agitate hipsters by taking to the streets of Williamsburg to break the news that Guy Fieri is coming to open a restaurant in the neighborhood — complete with a menu developed with input from Vampire Weekend that features nacho-cheese-stuffed foie gras and the more self-explanatory “gentri-fries.” The news goes over, for the most part, swimmingly. “I will single-handedly try to strangle him if he ever tries to do that in this area,” says one guy.
