Delta is rounding out its $28 million overhaul of Terminal 4 with not one but two Shake Shacks, the Times reports, which will open in May. Danny Meyer’s restaurant group is also planning to complement its pair of burger joints with Blue Smoke on the Road, a ‘cue-and-cocktails offshoot of the Manhattan original. Meanwhile, Nancy Silverton, who is reportedly eventually importing a branch of her Batali-bolstered pizzeria Mozza in the same terminal, will open a branch of her La Brea Bakery. Marcus Samuelsson is opening two concepts in the Delta terminal: the full-service Uptown Brasserie, and the more mobile-sounding Street Food. If your mind isn’t too blown by all this, Off the Menu is also reporting that elsewhere, in Downtown Brooklyn, Hill Country owner Marc Glosserman will open Hill Country Barbecue Market and a Hill Country Chicken within the same 11,000-square-foot footprint, at 345 Adams Street, in the “late fall.” [Diner’s Journal/NYT, Earlier]
