Cheryl Semien was working the drive-through shift on Wednesday at a Houston-area Whataburger when she couldn’t believe this stranger pulled up sporting a fancy mink coat. “I said, ‘Ma’am, I like that jacket you’ve got on,’” she recalls. The fur-wearer, a woman identified as “Nadine” who told ABC 13 she’s a fan of doing “fun things” with her resources, apparently then removed her jacket, slid it through the French-fry window, and probably flipped the switch on her ride’s heated leather seats or something. Co-workers say Semien started running around “like she’d won a million dollars or something,” although her benefactor professed the coat is actually worth more like $10,000. Proving there are no coincidences when the omniscient fast-food gods are working the late shift, Wednesday also happened to be Semien’s birthday.
