Watch an Improv Group Hand Out Free Pizza on a Packed Subway

Improv Everywhere — the same organization behind “No-Pants Subway” — jumped aboard the E train yesterday to hand out free pizza slices. (Why the E train? Because apparently it’s the cleanest of all MTA trains.)

The men, wearing classic red-and-white uniforms, boarded at Spring Street, and kept the greasy slices flowing for quite a while. The best part: Reportedly none of the New Yorkers accepted slices, but “all of the tourists did.” True New Yorkers know that eating on the subway breaks one of the city’s cardinal rules. An MTA spokesperson coolly replied, “We prefer customers not eat aboard trains but, hey, it’s free pizza.”
