Australia is in the throes of a regrettable new fad: making perfectly adequate milkshakes into “extreme milkshakes” by drowning them in crazy garnishes. Apparently, people in Sydney are resorting to brunches at 8 a.m. in order to Instagram these mason jars of diabetes, which definitely rival America’s gonzo Bloody Mary’s.Food photographer Alana Dimou, annoyed by all this excess, thought that maybe she could hasten the end of this whole charade if she took it to its logical conclusion:

Her three varieties (they aren’t so much “flavors,” she says, because it’s all about the garnish) include a gluten lover’s special of stacked doughnuts, waffles, and pancakes; another with its eight-patty bacon cheeseburger; and then a third with what appears to be an entire roasted fowl with s’mores.
