The Grub Street Food Festival Returns October 18

More than 75 vendors will be on hand all day long.
More than 75 vendors will be on hand all day long.

Mark your calendars: On Sunday, October 18, Grub Street is once again teaming up with the always-amazing Hester Street Fair (and our sponsor Citi) to set up our annual eating extravaganza. As always, admission will be free (you just pay for what you order), and there will be literal tons of amazing food. Stands this year will include Thai specialists Khao Man Gai; meat experts like Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque, Harry & Ida’s, and Meat Hook Sandwich Shop; and an up-and-coming pizzeria you may have heard of called Roberta’s. That is, of course, just the beginning, though. There will be more than 75 vendors on hand, live music, a beer garden showing Sunday’s football games (so, basically, a giant outdoor sports bar), and — we have it on good authority — there will even be mini golf.

The list of vendors is still growing, but check out who’s already onboard, and make sure you head to the corner of Essex and Hester Streets on October 18. The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., so you’ll have plenty of time to check everything out.
